Mossel and Croust!
We are Richard and Julie Robinson, and this is our journey to Mossel & Croust.
Firstly, the meaning of our name – these are two old Cornish words for a mid morning snack which have been linked with Farmers & Tin Miners for as long as we can remember.
Julie was brought up in Cornwall with the word Croust, where a large jug of tea was brought out to the fields with cracker biscuits sandwiched together with lots of butter.
With our ingredients coming from those same fields, the name makes perfect sense.
